Questo rinfrescatoio è sicuramente il pezzo più scenografico e sorprendente tra i numerosi oggetti in stile rococò usciti dalla bottega di Carl Tegelsten. Alle forme sagomate e al repertorio decorativo di volute e conchiglie tipico di quel gusto in voga in Russia intorno agli anni Quaranta, si accompagna una particolare ricerca naturalistica, che si esprime nella resa plastica e realistica dei tronchi e dei rami fioriti. Questo tipo di ornamentazione si incontra frequentemente nella produzione di Tegelsten. Stando ai documenti, di questo rinfrescatoio esisteva anche un esemplare gemello, trafugato nel 1985.
